Edition no.11
Embracing the “Pillow Talk” concept, this FW24 collection goes beyond aesthetics, evoking emotions and providing wearers with comfort, connection, and self-expression. It promotes a sustainable, intimate relationship with clothing, honoring the imperfections and tenderness in everyday rituals.
Inspired by Louise Bourgeois’ connection to clothing and objects, the collection revisits the ritual of getting dressed, a theme central to RUS since its inception. Clothes are not just a communication tool but also become deeply personal,, touching or cocooning the wearer.
Soft, fluffy textures in ethically sourced baby alpaca, mohair, and wool bouclé bring tenderness to the everyday. Plush textures, intentionally frayed edges, and delicate patterns echo the passage of time. Throughout the collection, wrapped and ruched knits evoke closeness, while oversized gender-neutral sweaters, loose-fitting silhouettes and versatile accessories blend softness with structure.
This season, we introduce for the first time a small capsule collection of woven garments, adding a new dimension to RUS. These pieces complement the cozy knitwear, offering versatile, trans-seasonal pieces that balance structure and comfort.
This season’s palette draws from Bourgeois' exploration of emotions and personal narratives.
A rich red-orange reminiscent of emotional intensity, a soft green for a natural and calming touch, muted cement and dusty blue for a cool reflecting serenity. Adding further depth, there's an earthy caramel and deep espresso brown for warmth and grounding. Lively lime and delicate butter yellow introduce playful and tender elements, while a range convey a sense of timelessness layered with emotional depth.
